Favorite Things

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

 

I love that song!  It is such a *feel good* song and makes me want to SHOUT out loud with song.  Something that would never happen.  SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN!  Pitiful vocal chords.  Tiny Tim comes to mind.

But the song doesn't keep me from thinking of all my favorite things this week:

• robins
• sunshine and 70 degree weather
• sleeping in my own bed after being gone a week
• hug from daughter
• kitty kitty
• book “The Hunger Games”
• outdoor walking
• sunshine (oh, did I mention that already?)
• Modern Family
• cranberries

• a child's giggle
• 70 degree weather (sigh)

When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
