It has been a whirlwind weekend!
The Professor and I flew into Iowa to visit friends and family.
Now we're heading home.
I am so tuckered out!
Looking forward to catching up
with all of you!
PS. This Robin's nest was right outside our door at our hotel.
Mama and Papa Robin were not pleased with me.

Love the birds. Hope you get all rested up once you're home.
Oh, he looks all tuckered out...perfect example of how you and the rest of us are probably feeling after such a busy weekend.
I love that second shot, a great capture and so sharply in focus. He does look worn out!

You are a busy lady! Glad you're back. Love the photos of the baby birds.

i can't wait to hear how iowa treated you :)
and those robins....they love people, build their nests by people, but then expect us to stay away when the babies are born....silly birds !
Cute photos, well suited to your words too.
Aren't the precious?! I want more.
You capture the beauty no matter where you are.

I'm just in love with these photos. the light, the color. and the subjects!!! I know what you mean about being tuckered out. it's been a long weekend and all the fun and festivities have put me way far behind. but not too far to stop in and say hello. I hope you have a wonderful, slow week! your photos are amazing.
awwwww! all tuckered out.
zzzzzzzzz......
Aw .. too sweet or two-eet as my now grown stepdaughter used to say ..
These shots really reflect your feelings in this post Reena, and I love it!!
Truly wonderful photographs.
Thank you so much for sharing these at The Creative Exchange. Have a safe trip home, and rest up!
lisa.
Hope you have recovered from all the fun :) How fortunate you were to have these young ones at eye level! Once in a life time shots, I'd say!
I love your photo-analogies! Lovely captures!
adorable! makes me think of this past weekend when we found 3 wee little ones nesting in a sheltered area on our pontoon boat right on top of one of the pontoons. we didn't notice until after we had left our slip. the parents came back when we got back to our marina, but we're not sure if all three made it through the entire weekend of us boating. we were as careful as possible and made sure not to stay away from the dock too long each time.
Oh, how I love those little stolen moments when you get to see something quite out of the blue and out of your everyday. Lovely photos!
Cute!
