I thought I would give you all a break from birds birds birds birds and sunsets of Anna Maria.
(And to answer Sinbad's prodding to embarrass myself on the number of sunset photos I have ... well, let's just say it is in the 4 digits. I need help.)
So as I was strolling through old travel photos looking for some other subject, I came upon another part of the world that I love.
Italy.
It was fun going down memory lane selecting and editing the photos in Topaz Fusion and HDR Efex. The originals are not the best since it was back in 2006 and I was using my Nikon point and shoot. I remembered that at the time I thought they were pretty good. Oh, to have had my DSLR back then.

Gorgeous.

Add to your list of talents--travel agent.
You present a very convincing case to get away.
My Husbands parents are from Italy. They have only been back once and are older now so I doubt they will ever get back there again.
My Husband and I talked about traveling to Italy and neither of us wants to fly for that long..... although, looking at your pictures makes me think harder about it.
Italy is such a wonderful place. Beautiful photos!
Always ready to go back to Italy! Say when...
Italy is a beautiful place, but from your photo is wonderful.
Thanks.
Ciao

I got stuck in Orvieto a number of years, I was hitchhiking, and surprise surprise, I got a lift up to Pescia, that is 229 kilometres per hour is equivalent to 142 miles per hour, lucky.
Lovely photos.
love the stone buildings and streets. so gorgeous.
Oh! What I would give to see in person! Beautiful photos, thanks for sharing.
good choice, this is as close as i will ever get to Italy and it is wonderful. thanks for my arm chair trip
Ah, Italia! My favorite place to be with my camera. Beautiful pix! I love the Venice shots.
I would enjoy a visit to Pompeii. What an experience that must have been for you.
I simply LOVE your edit. It is divine. I have to try the HDR Efex too. If you at can give any tips on editing, I would appreciate it! You do such a great job!
Italy is simply gorgeous, I'm lucky to have a sister living there, and get to visit every summer...
Italy is one of my most favorite places and I have so enjoyed the time I was able to spend there -- not enough, but great! I do love your photos and your editing is superb! I had so hoped to be able to visit Pompeii, but your photos are the next best thing! Hope you have a wonderful week, Reena! Thanks for sharing the beauty with us!!

Traveling is one of the best ways to spend time. The pictures look great to me.
Absolutely gorgeous pictures....I especially liked that you ended with a...............SUNSET!! LOL
Have you visited Sorrento?
I was there years and years ago but it left an impression on me.

The memories that make you smile, like blankets that keep you warm, gentle tugs that invite you to return to places you remember you love.
These are beautiful especially Venice!!! But my favorites are still the birds and sunsets!
No matter what camera, the composition is there my friend, AND, you clearly had fun tweaking them up in your fine style! What beautiful old buildings and streets!
Thank you for taking me on a little vacation.
My favorite country in a whole world :) Thank you, I needed a pick-me-up today. I took the same pic of the little boy in Pompeii. He & dozens of others died of gas inhalation before the ashes ever hit them...
Well I do love your birds and your sunsets but these are gorgeous. I doubt that I will ever have the opportunity to see these sights other than through pictures and yours are wonderful
I loved your little tour of Italy, it has made me want to visit those places :-)
You must have worked magic with your editing because these images are fabulous!
Those streets are real? Be still my heart.
I've kept this post open on my computer all day...just so I could take a peek at Italy from time to time! Dreaming....!!! ♥♥♥
