Sands of time ...

 i hear the soft
padding of your
footstep
upon
the
sands of time

you
draw near

silently
expectantly
full of innocent
wonder

full
of life
yet to be

 : : :

As promised, pleasant image and words today!

And,
I thank all of you for such thoughtful and heartfelt comments yesterday.
Wish there was a way to bottle up all that passion
and sprinkle it on thoughtless people.

Until tomorrow, my friends,

Such a tender, loving capture! Brought lovely memories of my children when they were little. And beautiful words to match. Hope your week is going well, Reena!

a sweet capture and peacul words to accompany. i just read your previous post and i have to say, it really annoys me when i see thigns like that happen - when people treat the earth like a rubbish dump. hate going to the beach and seeing the place ruined by litter.

You kept your promise! And you even put an aura around the beautiful child. I sometimes think that children really do have an aura around them!

Gorgeous! The photo and your poem should be framed. They are both wonderful.

such a beautiful photo.....

in regards to your last post....we were is seaside years ago when a tropical storm rolled in and kept everyone inside for a day....after it was safe to go back to the beach, we couldn't believe the stuff that had washed up. granted we found beautiful shells and driftwood, but we also found condoms and other things that were so harmful to all the animals we love so much :(

Wow, that gave me goose bumps!

What a lovely picture and the verse suits it beautifully.
I had to go back and read your last post. We live by the sea and sometimes I'm horrified at what I see lying on the beach. Between what gets washed ashore and idiots that leave stuff lying. It is criminal.

Beautiful photo and words! I love this line, too: "Wish there was a way to bottle up all that passion
and sprinkle it on thoughtless people." Wouldn't you be the richest person on the planet if you could bottle that up! Nice thought, anyway. :)
