While we were only in Seattle for a few days for The Professor to attend a conference, we did take in a few of the city's wonderful sights and activities.
The Space Needle ... note the plane flying nearby which I didn't notice until I uploaded the photo.
University of Washington campus
Gas Works Park
Kayaking with friends on Lake Washington
And a few other city spots that called out for me to snap away!
But a visit to Seattle is never complete unless you see Mount Rainier.
Even when it is overcast and cloudy, Rainier still is mighty impressive.
Hope your week starts off great!
More to come on Seattle and Alaska this week.

Mount Rainier looks like setting it sail too.

how fabulous was it not to have rain while you were there? cant wait to see Alaska through your eyes .. and when you finally land in Philly .. dates are needed for your next visit here! Love to the Prof!
I love this view of Mt. Rainier. It looks like the peak is floating in the sky.
Thanks for the beautiful photos and travelog.....almost like being there myself.
you gave us a nice whirlwind tour! :)
Wow - fabulous shot of the mountain! Enjoy Alaska and the midnight sun!
Such variety in your shots. Loved them all! I've only been to Seattle on a layover, but they have a nice airport!
You did indeed get some great shots of "my city" Seattle, Reena! I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit! It is a beautiful part of our country! Hope you're having a great time in Alaska, too!
i understand the emerald city part, but your stunning photos make it look like a brilliant crayola box
Great shots of one of my favorite cities. It looks so unusually bright and sunny -- you got lucky!

It looks pretty spectacular.
Wondering what you were up to next! Thanks for sharing these. Enjoy your trip ~ and I can't wait to see Alaska.
A favorite city. I traveled there often for one job I had in the past. Hiked Mt. Rainier once. My only problem with the place would be the limited highway options for the large amount of traffic.
I've been to Seattle twice and it was awesome.

You really did Seattle proud!

I'd love to visit Seattle again. We lived up there for a year and a half during our Navy life. I'm sure it's just as beautiful as ever.
