Driving Miss Reena

Yesterday, expecting the snow storm that was headed our way, The Professor and I took a late afternoon drive.  Actually, he was kind enough to be my chauffeur as I shouted out commands "Stop!  Back up!  Move forward a bit.  Let me out HERE!"

Yes.  He's a very patient man when I have camera in hand.  He even spots great shots for me.  Like the one above.

It was a photo hunting afternoon as we continued our drive through Spruce Point and Tenants Harbor.

Our destination, which was only about 40 minutes away, took us through some pretty territory hugging the coast along the way.  It was low tide which produced some beautiful scenery.

It was getting late in the day when we arrived at the Marshall Point Lighthouse in Port Clyde.  I was using my 28-300mm lens which really doesn't like late afternoon light.  It was about 4pm and another 30 minutes, it was going to be dark.

Ugh!  It gets dark so early in the winter!  Not enough daylight for this gal.

As predicted, we woke up to this scene this morning.
And it's still snowing.

A good day to clean up my photo library.  My Mac is doing a lot of
complaining lately so guess it's time to move some photo
libraries off to an external drive.
Scary business!

Wishing you a happy weekend, my friends,
