Limit reached

Well, I've been a real slacker lately!  I've not been nearly as industrious as this Hairy Woodpecker!  Only a post a week lately.  But as I've come to learn, blogging frequency will ebb and flow.  Just like this weather.  Warm one day.  Freezing the next.

I actually had a bigger post planned.  All 10 photos were ready to go.  But when I went to upload the photos, Blogger warned me that I had reached my storage limit on Picasa (where Blogger stores our images).  Of course, they were so kind to let me know I could upgrade my account for a small monthly fee.

Ugh!

Upon searching a bit more, I came upon this message:

Some users are reporting that they're hitting unexpected image quota limits when uploading an image from Blogger. We're investigating the issue and will report back when we have more information to share.

: : : : : :

So as of now, I don't know if it's only a problem with my account or for others.  And I guess I need to resize my photos from here on in.  Something I had not been doing.  I understand that if the photo's dimensions are 2048 x 2048 or less, it will not count against one's quota.

So I'm curious how others are resizing or compressing their photos.  I used to drop and drag photos into a folder on my desktop and then upload from that folder into Blogger.

Love to hear about YOUR workflow!
