Silent reverie

The other evening we took a walk after dinner onto a pier cast
into the vast sea of the Atlantic.
Many locals were gathered there fishing.

It was so peaceful and calming standing there among them
in the late dusk of the evening.
No words were being spoken.
Each just going about their business casting, baiting, waiting.

It felt magical being part of their silent reverie.

Hope your day is just as magical!

Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing this quiet moment. We had the same moments last night in our front yard. The weather was simply gorgeous!
