I just thought to myself "the next word would be 'indifference'" and I scolled the page down...sometimes I scare myself. I too like both of these photos.
so so true and so beautifully photographed! I love that word..."unfocus" that is rich. My daughter told me once, when I was looking over her outfit "you're LOOKING too hard!" -pretty smart cookie. Yes, unfocus and don't look so hard at our beautifully flawed lovies (including ourselves). awesome share....thanks. -Jennifer
These are Wonderful!! I have to admit sometimes I look at the world in both ways -- hopefully most of the time I look at it with Passion though. Great captures!
accepting imperfection was once hard for me to do....really hard. but then one day, i decided what was really hard was living with the perfection gene and since then i've done everything i can do, to be less perfect in how i live..... xo
It helps indeed. Sometimes when we are back to back, it doesn't mean we hate each other. Just taking some time off to plunge in the game with renewed strength!

Beautifully done post. Your words especially meant a lot to me today.
Reena, you are so right! Sometimes we miss the whole point, don't we.

So funny. Love the subdued colors here.
Love those images, beautifully illustrated.
Great duo...love your interpretation!!
Wonderful photograph and words Reena!
So nicely done.
How insightful you are to find the perfect words for these two photographs.
How simple and thought provoking!
For me it's the passion shot -love how their tail feathers en-twine - just gorgeous Reena!
The images are beautiful and the text is profound.
There is an interesting read -
The Gifts of Imperfection:Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are, author Brene Brown.
I need both these photographs framed side by side with the words as well. Wonderful!
Beautiful and a good lesson to constantly relive.
Perfect images for your wise message! Thanks for reminding us that we have to accept imperfection in ourselves and others.
Wonderful post, wise words with the perfect captures! And, yes, thanks for the reminder, Reena!

prose... nicely done ( as always )
Delightful! :)
what fantastic shots and love your descriptions too, so apt.
Love them too, beautiful coulors and birds.
Aren't those heads expressive.
Just the advice I needed to hear today. Life is not always easy, sometimes we need to give a whole lot more than we get.
I agree!

Beautiful shots, Reena! Lately, I've been kind of indifferent, but usually I'm passionate!
