What a fabulous poem indeed! I can only repeat Ladfi's words. Beautiful post as always. You are indeed a photographer and a poet! Thank you for the light you bring to my life!
Yep, I wrote this on the plane coming back home ... thinking how fast time went by while vacationing. As a kid, all I could think about was becoming older. Now, the years are rushing past way too fast!
Hi there - that first gull image is really great. We spend a lot of time trying to get images that are sharp, and along comes this one and it’s just so much more interesting!
Also read the post before - just to make you jealous, we have just had our ninth species on parrot in (or over!) the garden!
Lovely words:-) I really like the first photo. Shore birds are such fun to watch running in and out of the surf. And they have the cutest little knobby knees:-)
Gee, Reena....another "punch-in-the-stomach/heart" poem! I'm two months away from turning 69....there is NO WAY I could be that old! And you know what comes after 69!
I LOVE the first shot and I'm so happy for you to go to Amsterdam. Have you been there before!?! You will love it, go outside the city center to wondering all the lovely canals and walk until you feeds hurts:)
I was going to ask if you wrote that and I see you answered my question in the comments. How true these words are! Love the images to go with. Hoping you have a great week ahead!

Lovely photos and a lovely poem. Can someone slow down the time a little?
Beautiful poem and it looks like that sandpiper was winking at you.
Wonderful Reena. Did you write this poem? Very true to life.
I love the the photography, and I find the poem is fantastic, but, do we have to change that much?
I so feel your words. When you get to an age where a good part of your life is behind you, you just want time to slow down.
I love your edit in the first photo.
nice....really like the pics...the gull esp. quicker and quicker it seems to go....
Lovely photos and quote :-)

So very, very true.
Beautiful photos.
Loving the photos.
I don't particularly like the sound of time these days. It is too hurried and yet quiet. Sneaky in a way.
i can tell you are enjoying your beach right out side your door, this is beautiful.

That is one gorgeous picture. Well actually two but you know what I mean :) Love the verse to go with it too.
I have noticed that time is speeding up too:) I am glad it slowed down enough for you to get these fabulous shots:)
Love how you enhance your already perfect photos with words. Also love how such skinny little legs can hold up chubby birds.
Stunning!
just MaRvELoUs!!!!
beautiful images; you were there at the right moment to capture.
So true. I don't know if this poem calms me or makes me feel sad...maybe both. Beautiful work.
So pretty...and what a sweet little quiet moment you caught with this cute bird.
