Waiting ....

Now wouldn't this be
a nice place to be sitting today?
Instead of in a hotel room
waiting for your flight that was cancelled yesterday.

Wait ... make that many flights that were cancelled yesterday
due to tropical storm Lee
hanging around the eastern seaboard.

Hopefully we get home today.

Otherwise, I'm headed back up to
Maine to enjoy more of
these types of views!

Hope you have a great day!

Those chairs do look like the perfect spot to hang out. Sorry you're having such a nightmare getting home. Hopefully you'll be back in your own bed soon.

I'd vote for extra time in Maine, but there's no place like home.

Hoping you get home sooner rather than later!

Lee is still causing problems up there? Down South we're just hoping Nate heads toward Mexico instead of Louisiana in anticipation of some much needed rain. Lee was very cruel to us here - very little, if any, rain!
Love your treatment of this pic.

Hey, make a second holiday out of it!!! I think there is probably a reason for this, maybe someone you are supposed to meet or a certain flight you need to take, and we may never know, but God watches over us! I love your picture, especially that little sailboat in the distance, and wish the two of us were in those chairs now, if only for an hour.

Hi Reena. Sorry to hear about your travel delays. Having looked at all your views of Maine I think I would be staying put. Take care.

We're still having rain here in Virginia, but it's moving out, and I hope you're able to get home--If not, I hope you've found an adirondack chair to relax in until you can!

If it's any consolation, it's been raining here, but I suppose a rainy day in Maine is still much better than waiting around in an airport. Hope Lee lets you get back home soon! ~Lili

Yes, that would be a wonderful place to be sitting. And, we are in a hotel room tonight - not displaced by a storm, but on our way to Port Canaveral to join a ship on Sunday.

We don't sit in airports (unless absolutely necessary); we drive. :))

I hope you get home (or back to the beach) soon!

Best,
Lois
