We don't make any big plans for Memorial Weekend.
We're pretty low-key around here.
And that's just fine with me.
Most of my weekend
will be spent
hanging around some of my
furry friends
some of my
feathered friends
But the best part will be
chillin' with
some human friends!
are coming for a visit!
( which will be awesome fun
and lots of merry! )
At some point, no doubt, there will be a little bit of
cat napping
(which Kitty Kramer does so well)
Are you doing anything special?
Whatever you are doing, have a wonderful holiday weekend.
Take a nap, be merry, stay safe!
Later my friends,

well, except for daryl and kate, the rest sounds like my weekend plans!
enjoy, reena!
You got the jay in mid squawk, and got a hummingbird in flight!!! Meeting with other bloggers is so much fun!!!! I know you will have a fantastic weekend!
I have always loved the bleeding heart flower. If you pull it apart slightly, it can also look like a person sitting in a heart-shaped bathtub.
I do love your flowers and birds and furry friends!! The very best way to spend a holiday weekend! Delightful captures, Reena, as always! It is fun to spend time with fellow bloggers, isn't it!! Hope you have great weather and a great time as well!

I have no idea what the hell I am doing in that photo. What was I looking at? We'll never know, but I do know that I can't wait to see you (after I show you around my neck of the woods first)!
ps - these photos are gorgeous. love your birdie pix.
Looks like a fun weekend coming up. I love the shot of the cat napping.
Hot Dog! I know you guys (gals) are going to have a ball (blast). Totally enjoy yourselves to the hilt. Cheers reena!!
I forgot - WONDERFUL pics. I love chipmunks. And the bunny is sooooo cute. I know you love this time of year when our furry friends stop by. Cheers!!

Wonderful critter friends and I am sure you will have a wonderful weekend with your human visitors, too. :) Our weekend will be relaxed here. In two weeks we will go South again so we are enjoying the last couple of weeks at home.
Sounds like a great weekend! How fun to meet up with blog friends. We'll be having a low key weekend here, too. I'm ready for it!
Reena, is so good visit you, I love nature, simplicity and the fragility of small but beautiful animals, they are so happy and peaceful. Your photos transmites us your sensibility. Have a good weekend.

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend the holiday weekend. Some of mine will be similar to yours. I know I will be checking out the birds somewhere. Have a Happy Memorial Day weekend!

Enjoy your holiday weekend, Reena!
Your photos just make me chuckle ... have a wonderful time.
And some of the times with blogger friends, though they are not furry or feathery.
Great shooting Reena.

You girls stay outta trouble, hear?
Can't wait to hear your adventures with the Girls!! Sounds like you will be having a fun time.
GREAT photos of all your "friends"!!! Have a wonderful weekend "chillin out". Mickie ;)
Looks like a good crowd to hang out with! I saw our first hummingbird this morning :-)
What a delightful series of shots!
Reena,
love the photos...my son was glancing over my shoulder and we looked at previous posts and the hummingbirds are phenomenal. We have nothing special going on but I'm feeling what Kitty Kramer is probably on my schedule :) Have a lovely weekend!
Have a good weekend... love this series of shots and the sleeping kitty!
The bluebird in the pink blossoms is stunning!
I love the heart shaped flowers.
Happy Memorial day to you, the Professor, Kramer and all the yard critters. And have fun with your friends.
Hugs Madi and Mom
This sounds like a perfect weekend to me!
Hope you are having a good one with lots of wild life, furry and feathered. Wonderful!
xo Catherine
sounds wonderfully relaxing! enjoy chillin' with your pals of all kinds, reena!
We don't do much either. Love the shot of the finch with its wing out and the blue jay. Have a fun weekend.
it was a fabulous weekend .. too short ... sigh .. missing you both (and The Prof AND Kramer). I am loving those bird shots ... if only I'd sat still I'd have gotten a hummingbird shot too .. HA
I am home thinking about making soup and also...very much relaxing. Exhausted after this weekend. Love all your friends in the garden. I had one also come and visit me....a common kingsnake. I think I screamed. Guys scream. Think snakes are fine....just wish they'd come to visit when I didn't see them:)
Too many great photos to single out just one! We have such a small selection of birds here. Most of them are rather drab, when compared to most places...
that is one gorgeous set of photos! our naughty outdoor kitty is keeping most of the critters at bay... though this past weekend he brought me a baby garter snake as a gift.
just tonight, my husband left the back door open for a bit, and the next thing i knew, there was a hummingbird in the hallway! well, that was a first...
