A Dutch Fall

Amsterdam is always so beautiful in the fall.
Although these photos were taken last year when we were here, I thought warm, sunny images would be more enjoyable instead of images of the rainy days we've been having.
You'd think Hurricane Sandy was visiting.

It seems our home in Philly survived Sandy with no damage with only one tree leaning over.
And we still have power!  Woot!  Woot!
Some others have not been so lucky.
I've been glued to CNN and BBC as they report on the latest news.
It becomes rather addictive!
I hope the rains cease here soon so I can share more of
Amsterdam with you.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these images of this lovely city.

Stay safe, my friends,

Beautiful place, brilliant photos. There are the Bicycle, canal boats and electric scooter, I had to put in the last one.

Reena, I'm so glad to hear that your home is okay. Was really concerned about that. Sandy's name will be retired from the storm roster, I'm sure. Meanwhile, enjoy your stay.

Hi Reena,

This series of photos is really nice. I really like the effect too. I have never been to Amsterdam, and by looking at your photos, it looks very similar to Copenhagen.

Take care,

PS : pleased that Sandy did not damage much in your area.

Incredibly beautiful images. Still waiting to hear from our son in NYC. Quiet day, dreary too. George wants to play and I have no desire to do so.

Hi Reena!!
So good to hear from you and that you are all safe albeit WET!
Your pictures look like paintings...amazing.
I'm behind on my visits too. We were on vacation 1st week Oct. 3 days after returning my Mom fell breaking her hip. She has been in rehab 2 weeks but at 84 it is a slow process and she has some memory loss due to the entire
ordeal. We have some gluttons here too and yesterday I spotted my firs Junco...winter is close
Hugs Madi and Mom

Oh it is so beautiful! Love the yellows and your processing has drawn them out...lovely!

This is the first time that I can say I have been happy not to have a house on the ocean here in RI...so much destruction along the coast but here inland we have fared well.
