We are wrapping up our stay here in Amsterdam
and will be heading back to the states tomorrow.
Typically, I would have been biking all over the place to take photos.
But unfortunately on this trip,
it has been rainy and cold.
But no matter.
It is still a city that offers much.
From its parks, museums, canals and architecture,
I rarely find myself bored when visiting.
Unlike these well cared for Amsterdam cats
who seem a bit bored with their surroundings...
and undisturbed by my prying camera.
Which unfortunately did not get used much on this trip.
But I have no doubt that that will change.
Our next stop?
The sunny beaches of Florida!

I went biking all over the places in my village.
There was a different experience, compared to hiking.

Like your post title - sounds like an extreme sport! Like your pics too, no-one would know they were last year's...places don't change that quickly. Pity your trip this time was marred by the weather but it can still be fun exploring, even if you don't get the photos to prove it.

I am sorry that the weather did not cooperate, Reena, but I am sure it was nice just to be away for a bit. Florida sounds really wonderful to me right now. It's gotten very cold here in NY.

I had the great pleasure of traveling to Amsterdam some 40 years ago. I'm sure much has changed since then, but it was a thoroughly delightful city then. Great photos. I love hoe blase the cats are :-)
