Well, it seems that summer will finally arrive.
We're anticipating temps in the 90's this week!
Too hot, too soon for this part of the country!
We might as well be in Anna Maria.
At least there I could enjoy
warm sea breezes on the pier
afternoon walks with sand
between my toes
photographing some feather friends
like the Anhinga above
and the green heron below
or the blue-eyed
Cormorant.
There in Florida,
I could enjoy the azure seas
and sunsets
that take my breath away.
Oh yeh,
tolerating 90 degree temps on the beach
would be a whole lot easier there!
Maybe with a margarita or two.
Wouldn't you agree?!

Crazy weather we're having! It's going to be super warm here north of Toronto too by the end of the week.

I totally agree! Oh that looks like a little slice of heaven!
xo Catherine
No hot weather here yet...but when it comes it will come with a vengeance.

It's such an amazingly beautiful place, thanks for sharing :-)
Your photos are so pretty. Summer and water always go together, and that margarita looks like the perfect touch for such a day.
:)
The second photo looks like a tilt shift shot. Such rich colors in all of your photos.
you look fabulous ... xox
Absolutely Reena, cheers! That's one of the reasons I couldn't live anywhere else than by the coast. It always seems so odd to hear about your weather heating up so much when ours is cooling down.
The color in these is stunning.
Ahhhh....so glad I live in Florida! Your photos are stunning and capture so many of my favorite things:)
Beaches, warm tradewinds, margaritas... yep, it sounds just about right.
We'll be experiencing some of that soon. :-)
90's in PA good grief that is too hot for NC!! Your beach pictures are amazing. I've never been to Anna Maria. Recently I saw a House Hunters from that area. Absolutely breathtaking.
Hugs madi and mom
I do agree! It's better down here. Beautiful shots. One of these days I'm going to try those restaurants on those boardwalks down there.
Anna Maria seems to be a heavenly place. The colours are so refreshing too.
It has been a little chilly up till now, so I am looking forward to the 90's. Your Florida photos are gorgeous, I wish I was there too. And a margarita sounds nice too. Have a happy week!
that cormant in the water is so gorgeous!
I especially love your bird photos and you've captured one I've never seen before! Now I'm yearning for some beach time!
booze and heat....that's my favorite combo :)
Wow - those blue skies and turquoise waters - just fabulous! Makes me want to move out there right away.
I'd clink glasses with you anytime.. but especially right there! Lovely photos.. I can feel the heat - if only in anticipation.
I would totally agree. Not to repeat myself, awesome photos, just really really great.
These photographs are gorgeous, Reena, and I absolutely love the last one.
Supposed to get really warm here too, but it was supposed to begin happening at this point. Not true so far. Chilly and raining. :-(
Oh, A marguerita with this beautiful turquoise water seems like the ideal dream right now. And hot weather is what we all miss here in Europe at the moment. Temps don't go higher than 17 when it should be 25 ! Where is Spring and where is Summer?
Enjoy the beautiful sunshine and the nice cocktails. Nice photo by the way !
Take care.
I agree! Glorious photos. Love the angle shot of the pier and that sunset took my breath away, too!
same hot temps are coming here yet then they say 30 degree drop by the weekend.
so odd
love your perspective on the pier shot
and all the wonderful birds!!
I am so wildly, crazily, jealously, in love with your photography of birds and beaches and everything that pops with color. Thank you so much for sharing it all on your blog. Every time I visit I leave smiling. (I have followed your blog for awhile but now have a new blog/url - writing more anonymously these days).
That looks like the size of margarita I would like! (The beach scene is so far removed from my reality that it's a dream....I wish!)
There are birds wherever we go.
They know where we are.
I agree wholeheartedly! Awesome shots!
What beautiful shots! That margarita looks so good!
In the 90's here yesterday and today too from what I understand... And to think last week we lit a fire in the woodstove a couple of nights just to take the chill off:)
I always love to visit here when there are Anna Maria pictures:)
I would agree! Cheers!
Once again, your photos are beautiful.
Glorious pictures ~ Cheers to you ~
