Well, my friends, the thing I am finding up here in Maine this summer
is that there are too many distractions
that are keeping me from my computer!
Distractions like ....
the Timberwind (above) that sits down in our harbor
with its daily cruises.

Or the multitude of dinghies
that beg
to be photographed.
And the Belted Galloway Cows
that graze in the pastures of Aldermere Farm
that I bike past
several times a week.
And of course, the cries of the Osprey with their nest in the harbor,
warning off any nearby interlopers ....
always making me reach
for my binoculars.

And then there are evenings with magical colors
that draw me to the patio
to bid the day goodbye.

Yes, I'm finding way too many distractions keeping me away from you and my blog.
So if things are a bit quiet here over the summer, maybe you can understand.
There's just too much Maine beauty around me
to stay inside!
