Do you suppose this is what they mean by
"bird's eye view"
I was getting a bit weary of backyard critters.
Perhaps you were too.
So, starting Sunday,
these guys are going to be my backyard critters
because we are heading to the
beach!
Not the 'shore' .... remember this post
But before I leave, I think the squirrels have
something they want to share.....
Tomorrow.
And remember that Fairy Hobmother
and all the wonderful comments you left a few weeks back?
Congratulations goes to Ann over at Snap Edit Scrap

Wish I could tag along with you - I won't get my beach fix until late September! (Great shots, by the way!!)
yes.....around these parts (new jersey) we go to the beach, not the shore. it's a big debate but in order to call yourself a local, getting it right is a must!!!
p.s......i only love the beach in spring, fall & winter. summers i spend "at the pool"!!!!
Well, I'm not sure I understand the difference yet. Around here we have beaches, but then, we're only on a great lake, not the ocean. But, regardless of whether it's the shore or the beach, have yourself a wonderful time, get your toes wet, and your bottom sandy.
ooooohhhhh damn, i forgot about the pictures, they are awesome!!!!
Have a wonderful time at the beach. Love your bird shots!
cute cute cute! happy shore/beach/sand/sun/water days!
Love those sandpipers! Looking forward to your beach photos!
I wish I could come :)
Hmmm, I would say if it has sand you can lay on it's a beach. If it's rocky then it's a shore? OR do only lakes have shores. And rivers have banks? Sheesh
I go to the beach...lately at about four in the afternoon when the sun is beginning to drop but still feels warm. I am blessed to live by the "shore.". ;)
Makes me want to go to the beach! nice in flight shot.
Have fun, I'm not sure if we're going to the BEACH this year!
Enjoy your vacation - these are beautiful photos and wonderful edits.
have fun. those bird photos are amazing!
Cali people call it the beach. Shore sounds like an east coaster thing. Great pics by the way.
I have been scrolling through your posts, and you are an amazing artist with the camera!!! And I see a poem I think you wrote? Wow!! I have recently posted butterflies and a mommy bird feeding the baby, but my pictures are not near as good. That is my wish to the Fairy Hobmother, that my pictures are as good as yours!
The chances of me seeing any beach anytime soon are non-existent. Can't wait for you to share. I have never seen birds like these.
Have a nice time at the shore or beach.:)
Very nice blog!!!
These are incredible shots - looks like you were right up on them.
Have fun at the beach...guess we'll be seeing some sea gulls on your blog? You do have a gift for photographing birds!
Shore? Is that an east coast thing? Out here in California it is the beach. Remember the Beach Boys? Don't think the Shore Boys would have made it. Then again, those birds are referred to as shore birds, not beach birds. Even here we call them shore birds. But I really like your photos, especially the last one. What kind of birds are they? I've never had much luck with photographing beach birds on the shore, I mean shore birds on the beach. Good grief, I am so confused.
Reena, Great shots--you captured them at the perfect moment. Have a wonderful time at the beach. Mickie :)
WOW - what magical shots!
Reena, all three of these photos are great. I love birds, and I never seem to be able to photograph them very well. But at least I can see yours. The last one is so evocative!
Enjoy your beach time.. sounds relaxing to me !!
Whatever it's called, I want to go there too because the heat and humidity have come back! I know you'll have a wonderful time!! I'll look forward to seeing that birds eye view of it!
Hope you have a great beach trip and take lots of pics! The last photo is my favorite. I love the way they are looking at each other.
I'll be about 10 days behind you! Have fun!
Have fun at the beach Reena ~ and I look forward to what the squirrels are up to! :)
Happy Weekend!
xo Catherine
Have a wonderful weekend at the BEACH. What do those 'city folk' know anyway? lol Love that first shot. Thanks for the early morning smile.
You made me smile!!! Yes - definitely a birds-eye view!
Beach .. I hope you left enough for the backyard avians to keep them from getting hungry .. cant wait to see what you see at the beach!!!!!
Great shots and have fun at the beach. :)
Have always just gone to the beach! Love your birds eye view! Awesome captures!
All nice but the first photo is spectacular!
Reena have a lovely trip to the beach. Which beach to you enjoy along the East Coast? Yes definitely the beach here too. I never understood why some call it the shore?!
Madi and Mom
What delightful beach/shore bird images!
Hmmm. Some birds have quite the view, don't they?
I think I need to check out your post about the beach vs shore. :))
great birds, enjoy the beach. Don't get sh.t on by the sea gulls.
have a fabulous time away ..goodness the shore birds are just stunning , you really captured the contrast so beautifully
Amazing captures, Reena. A bit jealous you are going to the beach. Sounds like fun. Have a great time. :)
Wow! Beautiful photos!
Great pictures- I came over from Ann's Scrap and Edit since she told us about the Hobfairy. Love the blog. Not sure who I'm signed in as... you might like myqualityday.blogspot.com
Great captures. Enjoy your days on the beach.
now that is a backyard view I would never get tired of looking at.
Have a great time at the beach
These are just stunning :-)
Lovely shots. Enjoy the beach. Now I know what those flip-flops were waiting for at the top of your blog page. ;)
Gorgeous shots, I LOVE the first capture. Enjoy your time at the beach!
Beautiful shots, I love them all! Have a great time at the beach.
I love these shots. How far away (or close) are you?
Your bird photos? They are beautiful.
I assume you're going to the Jersey Shore, where it's the Shore, not the Beach. Grew up in Jersey, so I know these things. Everywhere else is the Beach.
