Dove Love

Sometimes pictures can detail courtship better than any words.
(warning ... not intended for little one's eyes!)

I loved the last two captures where he seemed concerned
and then just simply confused
of her dismissal.

Mmmmmm...... love can be so complicated.

I'll return tomorrow, friends, to our regular uncensored programming.

Have a great day!

What a cute series of photos. He needs to go find a good morsel of food for her, she'll like that.

In the third photo it seems he is saying "Was it as good for you as it was for me?" Obviously by her reaction he got an answer he wasn't looking for.

Great series, I have noticed the birds "chasing each other around" here too, maybe early spring fever.

It's the time of year for romance!

Marilyn said...

Oh, Reena, you captured these beautiful doves in all the glory of their romance. I wonder if they stay together for life. I have a pair in my back yard. They are always together. It seems whenever I see a dove, they are paired with another. Ain't love grand?
