There are moments

there are moments
when the world sighs
and the winds change

altering
us forever

love, death, birth

new worlds
knocking at our door
unfamiliar in our hearts

redefining
reshaping

we open
our arms wide
and embrace
and invite
everything to change

and then
there are
the small moments
that go unnoticed
with a passing whisper

a kiss goodbye, a wave, a touch

a summer sunset

that weave our days
into a tapestry of routine

filling us up
to reach out for
another day

The Professor and I will be traveling to Istanbul over the weekend and I'm a bit behind
on my preparations.  So I pulled up an old post from over a year ago.

Hope you enjoy and I look forward to sharing Turkey with you!

Have an awesome weekend,

lovely verse...life does change like that...some times in a moment you know and change is not a bad thing...some times it is painful, but many times life knows what it is doing better than us...smiles...have a wonderful trip!

Yes, quite lovely. Have a beautiful time in a city where I lived 3 years. I was just talking with a friend at lunch yesterday who had just been there after 4 years and said how much it has changed since then. I haven't seen it since 1988, and I hear it is like a different place in some ways. But it is still a glowing jewel on the Bosphorus, and I believe you will love it. I look forward to photos!

Yum! Turkey! I'll bring the cranberry sauce!

Oh, I'm so ashamed... The 45 commenters in front of me had enough willpower to not make the obvious Turkey joke, but me, not so much. I apologize.
